
Deerhoof surprise fans with new covers album Love-Lore
Deerhoof have surprise released a new covers album called Love-Lore, which sees the band cover The Beach Boys, The Police and more.
Love-Lore is available as a free download via Deerhoof's site and their Bandcamp.
The album was recorded live at Rivington Rehearsal Studios in Manhattan, and sees the band perform a 43-song medley over 35 minutes.
Deerhoof cover tracks by The Beach Boys, The Police, Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, The Velvet Underground, John Williams, Laurie Anderson, Parliament and more.
Love-Lore is the group's first release since their July live album To Be Surrounded By Beautiful, Curious, Breathing, Laughing Flesh Is Enough, and the Future Teenage Cave Artists album that dropped in May.
