Deer Tick announce two new records and share lead singles for both
Deer Tick are releasing a brace of new LPs this year - Deer Tick Vol. 1 and Deer Tick Vol. 2 - and you can hear a taste of each right now.
The records will be the quartet's first in four years. Recorded at Ardent in Memphis, Tennessee, the pair of albums will aim to show off two "distinctive musical personalities... quiet and thoughtful and loud and raucous."
The first instalment of the double-header "showcases the folk-driven roots/rock style" that Deer Tick have nurtured a rep for. Vol. 2 sees the Providence, Rhode Island group attach spark plugs to their sound and send a healthy jolt of electricity through the beats. It's abrasive and smacks of attitude.
