Watch David Byrne get his groove on to "Uptown Funk"
The likes of Sharon Jones, Alexis Krauss, Santigold, and Amanda Palmer all graced the stage at the once in a lifetime event celebrating Talking Heads.
Cee-Lo Green, Billy F. Gibbons (of ZZ Top), Cibo Matto, and The Roots were also amongst the acts to perform at Carnegie Hall on Monday.
Impressive though each may seem, it was David Byrne who remain(ed) in (the spot)light. Taking over the stage with a marching band and choreographed dancers, the famed musician strutted his stuff to Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" (below) - living the wild, wild life indeed.
Further performances from the night can be streamed via Stereogum, along with videos from the show's rehearsal session.
