David Bowie to release "Changes" 7" on Record Store Day
David Bowie's got big plans for Record Store Day 2015; he's set to re-release Hunky Dory masterpiece "Changes" on a strictly limited edition 7" picture disc.
It's a AA-side release, with "Eight Line Poem (GEM promo version)" on the other side, which is getting its debut (official) release. It originally featured on the '71 split LP with Dana Gillespie by GEM Records.
This will also be accompanied by a 'side by side' release of "Kingdom Come", taken from Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps), originally by Television's Tom Verlaine. This disc features Bowie's "Ronnie Spector" version, and the original Verlaine rendition.
Both are released in small runs on 18 April, with "Changes" on Polydor, and "Kingdom Come" on Polydor and Elektra.
