Daniel Romano strips things back at his secret set at End Of The Road Festival
Canadian troubadour Daniel Romano kickstarted his extensive European tour today with a rabble-rousing set on the Woods Stage, kicking off proceedings with tracks from his last two records Modern Pressure and Mosey.
Once the dust had settled he surprised fans by playing a short acoustic set on Best Fit's stage. Stripping things down, he performed delicate takes of Modern Pressure highlights "Roya" and "When I Learned Your Name" alongside the heartbreaking "Hunger Is A Dream You Die In" from last year's genre-bending Mosey LP.
Having made the treck over from Canada via boat, Romano and band go on to play a plethora of dates around the UK and Europe, culminating in London on the 18 November at The Borderline - presented by Best Fit.
