Daniel Caesar shares new BADBADNOTGOOD collaboration "Please Do Not Lean"
Daniel Caesar has unveiled new single "Please Do Not Lean", which features BADBADNOTGOOD and is also the first preview of his third album due out later this year.
Caesar debuted "Please Do Not Lean" at the first weekend of Coachella last week, and has given the BADBADNOTGOOD collaboration an official release today (22 April).
The new song follows Caesar's appearance on Omar Apollo's "Invincible" in February, and is a first taster of Caesar's forthcoming third album, which will follow his 2019 surprise album Case Study 01.
""Please Do Not Lean" represents a deeper understanding of myself and acknowledging the responsibilities I currently hold, respecting them and knowing my limits of when I can take on more," Caesar explains. "This is an introduction to the sound and tone of the next chapter in my career."
As well as collaborating with BADBADNOTGOOD and Omar Apollo this year, Caesar also made an appearance on FKA twigs' CAPRISONGS track "careless".
