With the internet rife with gossip that Daft Punk will be playing every festival under the sun this summer, Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has stated that hers is one they definitely won’t be making an appearance at.
The French electronic duo had previously been linked to both Coachella and Bestival, before the latter’s promoter Rob Da Bank said that they won’t be touring this year at all.
But with a new album coming this spring, the buzz has started up all over again.
Eavis, however, stands firm with her Bestival counterpart, saying: “they might be doing other stuff but they’re not playing here.”
At least we all still have that new album to look forward to.
