Coldplay donate one-of-one signed "Champion Of The World" vinyl to Tiny Changes charity
Coldplay have donated a one-off signed 7" vinyl of their "Champion Of The World" single to the Tiny Changes charity ahead of what would've been Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison's 40th birthday.
Tomorrow (20 November) would've been Scott Hutchison's 40th birthday, and to mark the occasion, Coldplay have given Tiny Changes - the charity set up in memory of the Frightened Rabbit frontman - a one-off, signed 7" vinyl of their "Champion Of The World" single.
"Champion Of The World" interpolates Hutchison’s 2014 Owl John track "Los Angeles Be Kind", and will appear on the vinyl alongside b-side "Cry, Cry, Cry", both of which are from Coldplay's 2019 album Everyday Life.
The red and blue vinyl, which is "pressed by Third Man Records in conjunction with Coldplay's label Parlophone" will feature hand-drawn artwork signed by Coldplay, and an auction for the single is due to take place on Tiny Changes' eBay page on 28 November.
In 2019, Coldplay’s Everyday Life album included the song, Champion Of The World which interpolated Scott’s Los Angeles Be Kind (from his 2014 Owl John side project). @coldplay have donated a unique, signed 7” vinyl pressing of Champion Of The World which we'll be auctioning off. pic.twitter.com/144PZftCQm
