Cocteau Twins' Elizabeth Fraser shares first Sun's Signature single "Golden Air"
Sun's Signature, the collaborative project of Cocteau Twins' Elizabeth Fraser and percussionist Damon Reece, have shared their first single "Golden Air" from their forthcoming self-titled EP.
Sun's Signature self-titled debut EP was originally announced in February as a Record Store Day release, and today Fraser and Reece have unveiled the first single "Golden Air".
The new song is accompanied by a video made by Anthony Tombling Jr.
Although Fraser has worked with Oneohtrix Point Never and Jónsi in recent years, "Golden Air" is Fraser's first new material as the lead artist in 13 years,
According to a press release, Sun's Signature came about after ANOHNI invited Fraser and Reece to appear as the centrepiece of her Meltdown Festival in 2012.
