Christine McVie rejoins Fleetwood Mac
Former Fleetwood Mac keyboardist and songwriter, Christine McVie has rejoined the group 15 years after retiring.
McVie was a main member of the group for nigh on 30 years, before announcing her retirement from the band back in 1998, after their induction to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
The singer had made a brief reunion at the band at their London shows during September, joining them live on stage.
Now, according to Fleetwood Mac News, Mick Fleetwood told fans at the group’s show in Maui on Saturday night that McVie would indeed be rejoining the band full-time. “his is the worst kept secret there is, but Christine McVie will be rejoining Fleetwood Mac,” he announced.
“I like being with the band, the whole idea of playing music with them,” McVie recently told The Guardian. “I miss them all. If they were to ask me I would probably be very delighted… but it hasn’t happened so we’ll have to wait and see.”
