Chelsea Wolfe unleashes "16 Psyche" from newly announced LP Hiss Spun

Chelsea Wolfe has announced new record Hiss Spun and shared lead single "16 Psyche".

Hiss Spun is Wolfe's sixth record in total and follows 2015's Abyss. It was recorded with Kurt Ballou (Converge) and was originally designed as "an emotional purge".

"I'm at odds with myself," Wolfe explains. "I got tired of trying to disappear. The record became very personal in that way. I wanted to open up more, but also create my own reality."

Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age, Failure) and Aaron Turner (Old Man Gloom, SUMAC) both contribute to the record.
