Charlotte Jane releases visual for latest single "Get it Right"
Charlotte Jane has shared the accompanying video for last week's new single "Get it Right".
Last Friday (20 November) Charlotte Jane returned with "Get it Right", which she described as "the anthem for the lightbulb moment when you realise your own self-worth and stop letting people string you along. It sounds sad but it’s actually empowering."
Today (25 November) Jane has returned to share the accompanying video, directed by Charlie Watts. The video was shot in multiple locations in and around Manchester including the Salford Lad’s Club.
Jane says of the video, "The video was shot up North which was important to me. The concept was all about showing a detachment from who we are now and who we were. I think it’s a really beautiful way of showing how we can look back, learn from past mistakes and move forwards."
"Get it Right" is Jane's first release since performing a cover of Childish Gambino's "Redbone" as part of a Mahogany Session in July, but marks her first new original song since last year's "All My Life".
Jane is yet to follow up her 2019 debut EP Nowhere To Hide.
