Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment show off new track "No Better Blues"
Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment hate everything on new track "No Better Blues".
Over a lilting, chilled jazz base, the pessimism unfurls:
"I hate charities and parodies and tragedies/I hate carrots, peas, asparagees/virtually all vegetables, circuses, all festivals/texts that are oversexual, emotion because it's perpetual..."
Among other things, Chance apparently hates inflation, milkshakes, child-resistant locks on pill cases, the dog and the optimistic smirks on the faces of children.
It doesn't seem like a heartfelt list of things that rile him, get his goat or are choice pet peeves, it seems like he's just joking around. Hopefully that's the case, otherwise we might have one grumpy Chance on our hands in the future.
