Carly Rae Jepsen teases new release "Western Wind"
Carly Rae Jepsen is teasing her return after fans spotted a billboard advertising something called "Western Wind".
After confirming in November last year that she has new music arriving in 2022, Carly Rae Jepsen has updated her socials with a new image featuring the caption: "First bloom..."
The new image also coincides with fans spotting a new billboard advertising something titled "Western Wind". The billboard also features a phone number that when called, sees Jepsen encourage fans to "stay in the loop" on her new music, tour dates and more (as Stereogum reports).

Earlier this week Jepsen also shared a type of map featuring Coachella, Joshua Tree National Park and other spots in California, but the map also features phrases including "Coming in like a western wind", "First bloom, you know it's spring", "Do you feel home in all directions?" and more. While it's not clear if the phrases are new lyrics or song titles, the map does feature an "x" right by exit 130.

While it's not yet known if "Western Wind" is a single or new album, Jepsen is yet to follow up her 2019 album Dedicated, and 2020's Dedicated Side B.
