Car Seat Headrest planning split EP with... Smash Mouth?!
Car Seat Headrest and '90s pop-rockers Smash Mouth could be teaming up for the weirdest release of 2017.
The band have already declared their love for Will Toledo's prolific indie project, as Stereogum note, but now at a fan's suggestion it looks like we could have the two acts teaming up.
If all goes to plan, the world will be getting a joint covers release from Smash Mouth and Car Seat Headrest.
Don't count on CSH tackling "All Star" though, with Smash Mouth saying they "wouldn't do that to him".
Suggestion: @smashmouth & @carseatheadrest split EP where each covers a song by the other. Please make it happen.

@crockodials @carseatheadrest I don't think they would think that's cool but we're game.
