Bryan Adams photographs Grimes, Cher, Kali Uchis and more for 2022 Pirelli calendar
Yesterday (29 November) the 2022 edition of the Pirelli calendar was launched, and it sees Bryan Adams photograph the likes of Grimes, Cher, Kali Uchis and many more.
The Canadian singer/songwriter, producer and photographer's 2022 Pirelli calendar is titled On the Road, and it features portraits of some of today's biggest stars.
Adams photographed the likes of Grimes, Cher, Kali Uchis, Iggy Pop, St. Vincent, Normani, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora, Saweetie and Bohan Phoenix over just three days, and according to Pirelli Adams said, "It would be very, very hard to encapsulate everything that goes on 'on the road' in a couple of days."
The rocker and photographer was originally due to shoot the 2021 Pirelli calendar last year, but due to COVID the project was put on hold.
He added of the calendar, "With all these pictures, fantasy plays a big part in trying to create something, because you don’t want it to be literal, you want it to be glamorous, yet it gives the impression of what it might be like."
