Bruce Springsteen dishes out lasagne for US charity
On Wednesday night, Bruce Springsteen raised $300,000 for US veterans; by auctioning off a guitar lesson, a ride in his motorcycle sidecar... and a lasagne dinner at his house. The "Born In The USA" star was performing a short set at the Stand Up For Heroes event in Madison Square Garden.
'The Boss' has a busy November ahead of him. His foray into children's literature has recently begun with the release of his first children's book, Outlaw Pete. Later this month (17 November) he will also release Bruce Springsteen: The Album Collection Vol. 1 1973-1984, a box set containing his first seven albums. The boxset also contains a 60-page book featuring press clippings and memorabilia detailing his first eleven years.
