Bonny Light Horseman share new track "Summer Dream"
Bonny Light Horseman, aka Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson and Josh Kaufman, have released new track "Summer Dream" as the second preview of their Rolling Golden Holy album.
After announcing Rolling Golden Holy with the lead single "Calfironia" last month, Bonny Light Horseman have delivered a second outing from the record titled "Summer Dream".
Anaïs Mitchell says of the new release, "I think of "Summer Dream" as the ultimate example of the ‘yes, and’ process we got into for this record. There was something we could all feel about this ‘ghost of a summer’s past,’ so the scene is true to each of us but somehow remains mysterious–a phantom. We could have sung that wordless outro for an hour, and in the rough track we basically did. We wanted it to ‘spill all over’ like a summer night."
Rolling Golden Holy will follow the trio's 2020 self-titled debut album, and was recorded between Aaron Dessner’s Long Pond studio and their "spiritual home", which is an old church called Dreamland.
