
Bon Iver and Bikini Kill among first names announced for Øya Festival 2021
Norway's Øya Festival has revealed the first wave of names confirmed for next year's event, including Bon Iver, Bikini Kill and more.
After cancelling the 2020 event back in April due to the coronavirus pandemic, organisers have today (18 August) unveiled the first list of names performing at the Norwegian festival in 2021.
Bon Iver will headline next year's event on the Wednesday, while Norway's own AURORA will take the Saturday night headline slot. Both headliners were due to perform this year's event before it was cancelled.
Bikini Kill, Michael Kiwanuka, Emilie Nicolas, Kvelertak, Sondre Lerche, Musti and KAMARA have also been confirmed for the 2021 festival today (18 August).

2019's Øya Festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary, hosted performances from Robyn, Mitski, IDLES, girl in red, Tame Impala, Julien Baker, James Blake, The Cure, Sigrid, and many others.
