Blanck Mass brings out the maggots for End Of The Road
Blanck Mass unshackles his devilish electronica and lets it loose on a soggy End Of The Road 2017.
Pummelling beats and brutal synth screeches pockmark the frenzy, with ribbons of blackened melody mangled into abstract shapes - it's unforgiving and it's unrelenting, and it's what makes Blanck Mass such a fascinating, complex prospect.
Although Benjamin John Power is chained to his various gadgets and gizmos for the set, a parade of mind-bending visuals whirr on a big screen behind him; there's much more than music on offer. As well as amorphous blobs, sheets of colour, and flickering frames, there are gratuitous maggot scenes and anatomy shots - it's disturbing eye candy that perfectly matches with the sonic assault.
