
Black Country, New Road unveil cover of MGMT's "Time To Pretend"
After releasing their debut album For the first time last week, Black Country, New Road have uploaded a performance video of them covering MGMT's "Time To Pretend".
Last week was a big one for Black Country, New Road, who released their debut album For the first time, and hosted a Bandcamp livestream from The Premises studios in London on Saturday (6 February).
Black Country, New Road decided to round off their busy week by uploading a video of them covering MGMT's 2007 anthem "Time To Pretend" to their YouTube channel.
The cover sees the band swap out the bright synths of MGMT's original for the group's signature instruments, including saxophone, piano and guitars.
Over the past year Black Country, New Road have also covered tracks by Weezer, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, CeeLo Green and more.
