Fascinated by the occult, Black Channels are to play "Two Knocks For Yes" - a 30 minute radiophonic collage featuring recordings from the 'Enfield Haunting' - at Brighton's Saint Andrews Church on 23 October. The gig also celebrates the recent release of "Two Knocks For Yes" on cassette.
The Brighton/London-based duo will perform at an evening of immersive entertainment, alongside a talk on the folklore of death and water by James Burt, ghost stories and archive video footage and photographs, all hosted by paranormal enthusiast, Curtis James.
Set in the 19th Century stone walls of Saint Andrews Church, Brighton, Two Knocks For Yes sees real life reports of paranormal activity, otherworldly vibrations and oscillations, and chilling accounts of nocturnal visitations. There are to be tales of hauntings in the venue itself (no longer used for worship). Two Knocks for yes show - 23rd October 2015 from Curtis James on Vimeo.
Doors open at 7:30pm at Saint Andrews Church, Waterloo Street, Hove, BN3 1AQ. Performance starts at 8pm. There will be no admittance after this time. Buy tickets here.
