Biig Piig announces new EP with lead single "Lavender"
Biig Piig is back with news of her upcoming EP The Sky Is Bleeding, and has unveiled new single "Lavender" as the lead outing.
"Lavender" is Biig Piig's first single since appearing on Emotional Oranges' "Body & Soul" track last month, and arrives alongside news of her forthcoming audio-visual EP The Sky Is Bleeding.
Biig Piig describes the new release as "a track about giving in to temptation and exploring the feeling of letting go, sexual energy and secrecy".
The Sky Is Bleeding was recorded between lockdowns in LA, and was completely remotely with help from Gianluca Buccellati (Arlo Parks), Zac Fogarty (Denzel Curry) and Oscar Scheller (Rina Sawayama), and will follow Biig Piig's 2019 EP No Place for Patience, Vol. 3.
She says of the EP, "The Sky Is Bleeding is a project that I’ve let myself be free and open about situations and fantasies of mine that I haven’t touched on before. My sexuality and secrets I wanted to take the listener as close as I could to some of the intimate and vulnerable places I go alone."
