23 March 2022, 14:18 | Written by Cerys Kenneally

The Academy Awards has announced that Beyoncé and Billie Eilish are among the performers for the 94th Oscars taking place this Sunday (27 March).

Beyoncé will perform her King Richard song "Be Alive" at the 2022 Oscars this weekend, while Billie Eilish and Finneas will play their James Bond theme "No Time To Die".

Reba McEntire will play "Somehow You Do" from Four Good Days, and Sebastián Yatra will play "Dos Oruguitas" from Encanto.

2022 will mark Beyoncé's fourth Oscars performance, and first since 2009 when she joined in with various other stars to sing a film musical medley.

Variety reports that Beyoncé's "Be Alive" performance may open the 94th Academy Awards, and might be screened live from some Compton tennis courts where Venus and Serena Williams used to train.

The 94th Academy Awards ceremony will take place this Sunday (27 March) at LA's Dolby Theatre.
