Benjamin Clementine wins the 2015 Mercury Prize

Pianist/singer/songwriter Benjamin Clementine has won this year's Mercury Prize for his debut LP At Least For Now.

In the days preceding the ceremony, Clementine became a bookies favourite, seeing off stiff competition from Jamie xx.

Judges for this year's gong included Corinne Bailey Rae, Nick Mulvey, Anna Calvi, and MistaJam. Albums released between 9 September 2014 and 25 September 2015, from British and Irish artists, are eligible to be nominated for the prize, which also comes with a £20,000 cash injection.
