Beck has revealed he’s close to finishing a brand new album.
Having spent the last couple of years largely focusing on soundtracks, collaborations and, er, releasing a book of sheet music, the American musician is finalising the follow-up to 2008′s Modern Guilt.
Beck spoke to Australian radio station Triple J regarding the untitled new record:
“I started a record, largely recorded in 2008, so I’m trying to carve out some time from all the production work I’m doing to finish those songs before they become records from a lost era. It’s going on a half decade at this point.”
No firm date has been scheduled for the release as of yet.
