A Röyksopp vinyl cover hand-painted by Banksy has become the highest-priced sale ever on Discogs, fetching over £8,000.
The Banksy vinyl cover of Röyksopp's 2001 breakthrough album Melody A.M. was one of 100 to be hand-painted by Banksy in 2002.
The simple cover features stencilled writing with blocks of green that appear to represent treetops.
Banksy's cover sold for $10,256 on Discogs, making it the highest-priced sale ever seen on the music selling site.
The previous record was held by another copy of Banksy's Röyksopp cover, which sold for $8,178 in July.
Last month Banksy took over a store in Croydon to display, and later sell some of his art, including Stormzy's Glastonbury 2019 stab vest.
