AURORA gives "The Devil Is Human" an official release
AURORA has officially released "The Devil Is Human", a song only previously available on the vinyl edition of her latest album The Gods We Can Touch.
AURORA released The Gods We Can Touch in January, and today (8 July) she's given an official release to "The Devil Is Human", a track that was included on the vinyl versions of the record.
"We get sexualised by the world, and yet shamed for being sexual," AURORA says. "They want to possess you and own you, and even decide what you get to do with your own body. We are not free until all of us are free. The world have tried for many years to burn women who were strong, who were brilliant, brave and free spirited. The devil is human, or apparently the devil is a woman. You can burn the skin we live in, but you cannot burn the witch away. #ourbodyourchoice."
As well as releasing The Gods We Can Touch this year, AURORA shared "The Woman I Am" in April, and collaborated with Qing-Feng on "Storm" last month.
This Sunday (10 July) AURORA will support Duran Duran at their BST Hyde Park show.
