Apparently A$AP Rocky will be held in Sweden for another week
Prosecutors want to hold A$AP Rocky in Sweden for another week to continue with their investigation.
Earlier this month, A$AP Rocky was arrested in Stockholm on suspicion of assault. He shared two video clips of the alleged assault on his Instagram.
Artists such as Tyler, The Creator, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Yachty, and more have vowed to never perform in Sweden again in light of his arrest.
The rapper has already been detained for two weeks, and according to BBC, prosecutors want to keep him in Sweden for another week while the investigation is carried out.
Prosecutors have applied for another extension until 25 July to complete the investigation and formally charge him with a crime.
According to prosecutor Daniel Suneson, A$AP Rocky is still being detained "because of the flight risk".
Suneson added, "We have worked intensively with the investigation and need more time, until Thursday next week in order to complete the preliminary investigation."
Yesterday (18 July) it was revealed that Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West had lobbied the Trump Administration in order to help get A$AP Rocky released.
