George Orwell’s dystopian classic 1984 is set to be adapted into a romantic drama for the big screen starring Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult. But if the thought of that irks you deep to your bone then take solace in the fact that Apparat will be helming the score.
As Exclaim report, the German electronic musician will soundtrack the film (set to be called Equals) for a yet-unannounced due date. The movie will be directed by Drake Doremus (Like Crazy) from a screenplay by Nathan Parker (Moon).
Apparat released his last album in 2013 with Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre).
