Animal Collective share new song "We Go Back"
Animal Collective have delivered a fourth preview of their Time Skiffs album with new track "We Go Back".
"We Go Back" is the fourth outing from Animal Collective's new album, following "Strung With Everything", "Walker" and "Prester John".
The new song is accompanied by a video directed by Winston Hacking, who says, "It was a thrill to work with Animal Collective - they trusted our sense of play and commitment to spontaneity which is mirrored in their sound. The video is composed of scanned locations, miniature sets and collage cut outs that embrace the low-fi 3d aesthetic inherent in photogrammetry."
Time Skiffs will follow Animal Collective's 2016 album Painting With. It was recorded throughout 2020, and was mixed by Marta Salogni.
