Andrew W.K to give talk at Oxford University
He’s partied hard, helped world peace and even written a book, now Andrew W.K. is set to give a lecture at Oxford University.
As Clash report, the Oxford Union have enlisted the “I Get Wet” singer to give a keynote speech on 13 June regarding the “Philosophy of Partying”.
“In my opinion, Andrew is one of Rock N’ Roll’s great philosophers,” said the union’s Nick Fowler, whilst the University’s Rock Society added: “We’ve seen rock stars, we’ve seen brilliant public speakers, but rarely are they the same person, and rarely do they have as intriguing and broad a background as Andrew W.K”.
