Alt-J’s post-Mercury Prize sales increase has been revealed after their win at the London award ceremony last week.
It’s been announced that the Leeds band’s debut LP, An Awesome Wave, has seen a boost of 411% over the seven days following the event.
NME also report that the record has now sold nearly 46,000 copies since the nomination was announced back in September.
Elsewhere, fellow shortlisted acts Django Django and Michael Kiwanuka experienced a 221% and 125% increase respectively.
Alt-J beat the likes of Jessie Ware and Plan B to win the award handed to the best album made by a British artist of the past year.
