All We Are play first ever acoustic set at End Of The Road Festival
Liverpudlian trio All We Are ditched the synths and embraced a stripped-down approach for Friday's second secret Piano Stage set at End of the Road Festival.
"We've never played an acoustic set before, but we'll try to keep it raucous" pledged the band, whose members hail from Norway, Ireland, and Brazil, before launching into four tracks from their recently released second album, Sunny Hills.
After opening with the downtempo "Waiting", the band fully embraced their trademark 'Bee Gees on diazepam' aesthetic on "Animal" and "Youth", the latter of which had never been performed live before. They wrapped up with an full-on rendition of "Human", with vocalist Guro Gikling prowling through the audience and gesticulating wildly at the front row, fulfilling their earlier pledge and proving acoustic sets can still be pretty intense.
