Aldous Harding details second LP Party, shares Perfume Genius-featuring track "Imagining My Man"
Aldous Harding has announced second record Party - her first for new label 4AD - and shared new single "Imagining My Man".
The track follows the mind-blowing lead single "Horizon" in previewing the follow up to 2014's self-titled debut.
"It has a fluidity that works nicely. I couldn't think of anything that would work better. I want people to feel calm, I was just trying to look friendly. It was also lovely being driven around Auckland City, I hadn't done that in a while," says Harding of the Charlotte Evans-directed video.
Party was recorded in Bristol with John Parish (PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse) and features contributions from Parish, Fenne Lily, and Perfume Genius - the latter appears on Harding's latest cut, plus the record's finalé "Swell Does The Skull".
Harding plays a heap of live shows in Europe this spring, including a date at London's Omeara on 22 May. Head to www.aldousharding.com for full tour and ticket details.
