A 40th anniversary vinyl reissue of Joy Division's Still is arriving next year
To mark the 40th anniversary of Joy Division's Still compilation album, a new vinyl reissue has been announced for February 2022.
Still, originally released 40 years ago today (8 October 1981) as the first compilation following the death of lead singer Ian Curtis, is being reissued in 2022 after previous reissues of the band's Closer and Unknown Pleasures albums.
The compilation featured unreleased studio recordings, two non-album tracks - "Dead Souls" and "Glass" - as well as a live recording of the group's last concert at Birmingham University.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the compilation, a special, crystal clear vinyl edition will be released in February.
To mark the 40th anniversary of 'Still' today we're pleased to announce a limited edition vinyl exclusive to the official New Order store. Set for release 11.02.22. Pre-order here >> https://t.co/K5nm4tR8W5 #JoyDivision #Still40 pic.twitter.com/aIlFvqvjcI
