
Rare 1965 recording of David Bowie and The Lower Third going up for auction this week

A 1965 vinyl of The Lower Third's "I Want Your Love" featuring David Bowie is going up for auction tomorrow, and is expected to fetch up to £12,000.
As Variety reports, the vinyl is expected to fetch somewhere between £8,000 and £12,000 at auction, which beginns tomorrow (16 December), and will feature "I Want Your Love", a song recorded inn 1965 by Bowie and his The Lower Third group.
The song, written by John Dee and Jack Tarr, and produced by Shel Talmy, was never given an official release.
The "I Want Your Love" vinyl will go up for auction tomorrow (16 December) at 10am GMT via easyliveauction.com. Last month David Bowie 5: Brilliant Adventure (1992–2001) was released, and the Toy:Box set will follow on 7 January 2022.
