Lana Del Rey details her tenth album, The Right Person Will Stay
Last night, Lana Del Rey took to her socials to announce her forthcoming album, The Right Person Will Stay.
Lana Del Rey shared a black and white photograph of herself in a sepia frame, with the album's title written across the bottom. In the caption to the post, she wrote: "So grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others. Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach starting with Henry."
The Right Person Will Stay is the followup to 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd and will be her fourth album in just over three years, following Chemtrails Over The Country Club, and Blue Bannisters.
For the most part of the year, Lana Del Rey had been teasing a country album, Lasso. In an interview at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards, she revealed that the project is being put on pause. "If there’s a literal energetic pause that almost feels like physical, then I have to wait and I don’t know why."
Lana Del Rey also announced a UK and Irish tour for summer 2025, which includes dates in London, Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Cardiff.
The Right Person Will Stay, is set for release on 21 May 2025. Tickets for her tour will go on sale on 29 November at 10am and can be purchased at LiveNation.co.uk and pre-sale ballot available here.
