Lana Del Rey announces country-inspired album, Lasso
During Billboard’s pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles yesterday evening, Lana Del Rey revealed that she will be releasing her tenth studio album, Lasso, later this year.
Taking to the stage to pay tribute to Jack Antonoff, who is nominated for Producer of the Year, and has won the award for the past two years, Lana Del Rey revealed that she has been working with him on her forthcoming release.
”If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening,” she said. “That’s why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

Lasso is the followup to 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd and will be her fourth album in just over three years, following Chemtrails Over The Country Club, and Blue Bannisters.
Lana Del Rey is nominated for five Grammy awards this year, including Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album. "A&W” is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Alternative Music Performance, while “Candy Necklace” with Jon Batiste is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Last year, she released a cover of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" which followed "Say Yes To Heaven", as well as her collaborations with Bleachers and Holly Macve.
The 66th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, 4 February at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. For more information, visit grammy.com.
