King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Orbital, Fcukers and more feature on Confidence Man's remix album, 5AM (LA LA LA)
Aussie partystarters Confidence Man have announced forthcoming album, 5AM (LA LA LA), featuring 15 remixes of tracks from last year's release, 3AM (LA LA LA).
The full package – featuring remixes by Jimmy Cauty, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Paige Tomlinson and more – is previewed with a remix of "Far Out" by electronic pioneers Orbital. Speaking on the remix, Orbital explain: "Had so much fun remixing Con Man - almost as much pleasure as we had hanging with them - it’s genuinely one of our favourite remixes we’ve ever done."
On the remix package, Confidence Man adds: "5AM (LA LA LA) keeping ya hugged and drugged up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Ft. remixes from some of the legends that made conman arguably the best band in the world, along with some hot new blood to keep ya alive and kicking. Doing it right and signing off with the regular ass smackin’."
The track follows last month’s "I HEART YOU", made in collaboration with MOBO and BRIT-nominated artist Eliza Rose, which landed as part of 4AM (LA LA LA) – the deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed album, 3AM (LA LA LA).
