Killer Mike reveals that Andre 3000's debut album is on the way
In an interview on SiriusXM’s Sway In The Morning show, Killer Mike reveals that Andre 3000 has a forthcoming solo album.
In the interview, Killer Mike was discussing his new track “Scientists & Engineers", which features a rare appearance from André 3000. When asked whether André 3000 was working on a new album, Mike responded: “Yeah, I think we fly out in a couple weeks to go listen to it.”
André 3000 has never released a solo album, and he has only sporadically appeared as a featured artist. Before collaborating with Killer Mike, his most recent credit was on Kanye West’s 2021 track “Life Of The Party", which was leaked by Drake. The conversation continued with Sway revealing that Killer Mike had already heard nine songs and that there were more records in the stash.
Last Friday (June 16), Killer Mike released Michael with a huge list of features, including Future, Andre 3000, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Blxst, Curren$y, and more. The album is his first solo venture since 2015's Killer Mike Chronicles.
