Killer Mike, Nas and Little Dragon's Yukimi feature on De La Soul's first album in almost a decade, Cabin In The Sky
Pioneering hip-hop trio De La Soul have announced details of their tenth studio album, Cabin In The Sky, alongside the release of its lead single, "The Package".
Cabin In The Sky is De La Soul’s first new studio album in nine years, following 2016’s And The Anonymous Nobody, which earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. It’s also their first release since the passing of beloved founding member Trugoy the Dove (David Jolicoeur) in 2023.
The record features several collaborators, including Killer Mike, Yukimi Nagano from Little Dragon, Nas, and Black Thought, with production from DJ Premier, Super Dave and Pete Rock.
Earlier this year, as part of celebrations for the 20th anniversary re-release of De La Soul's seminal album, The Grind Date, the group shared a video for the track, "Rock Co.Kane Flow" featuring MF DOOM.
Cabin In The Sky is the sixth instalment in Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It… series - a seven-part celebration of New York hip-hop trailblazers. The series has so far seen fresh releases from Slick Rick, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep and Big L.
Cabin In The Sky, will be released on 21 November via Mass Appeal.
