
Kieran Hebden and William Tyler link up on two-track single
Four Tet mastermind Kieran Hebden and Nashville guitarist William Tyler have teamed up for "Darkness, Darkness" / "No Services".
Today, the duo share the A-side of the single, with "Darkness, Darkness", which is based around a sample of Gloria Loring's 1969 version of The Youngbloods' song.
Fresh from his set closing Coachella with Skrillex and Fred Again.., Four Tet released “Three Drums” in late April. He also put out Secret Life – a collaborative album from Fred Again.. and Brian Eno.
Williams recently released an album called Secret Stratosphere with the Impossible Truth.
The Psychic Hotline singles series has previously featured Joe Rainey’s "Once the Reaper", Hand Habits’ ‘Greatest Weapon", Ethan Gruska and Bon Iver’s "So Unimportant", and Bartees Strange, Ohmme, and Eric Slick’s "Province".
"Darkness, Darkness" / "No Services", the 12 inch single, is due to be released via Sylvan Esso's Psychic Hotline singles imprint on 30 June.
