
Kendrick Lamar unveils "We Cry Together" short film co-starring Taylour Paige
Kendrick Lamar has finally released his "We Cry Together" short film, which co-stars Taylour Paige and was got a short LA theatre release in June.
Lamar's "We Cry Together" short film is directed by Lamar, Jake Schreier and Dave Free, and co-stars Zola's Taylour Paige and Lamar. The description reveals the one-shot short film was recorded with live vocals on 15 March 2020.
"We Cry Together" is the second track from Lamar's May album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers to get a visual, following "N95".
Last month it was revealed that Lamar's "We Cry Together" short film is eligible to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2023 alongside Taylor Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film.
