Kelela delivers new track "Contact"
Kelela is back with her first outing of 2023, "Contact", which lands as the fourth preview of her upcoming album RAVEN.
"Contact" will appear on Kelela's RAVEN album with last year's "On the Run", "Happy Ending" and "Washed Away" singles.
Kelela says of the song, ""Contact" has a little bit of something for every part of the night. It’s a soundtrack for ‘pre-gaming’ (a song to play as you’re getting ready or on your way to the club). It’s also the interior club experience: the heat that envelops you when you walk into a packed rave. All this culminates in a very naughty, psychedelic moment in the back of the club with a lover."
RAVEN will follow Kelela's 2017 debut album Take Me Apart, and will include 15 tracks.
"Contact" is out now. Kelela's RAVEN album will arrive via Warp Records on 10 February, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play London's Outernet on 7 April. Visit kelela.co for tickets.
