
Katy Perry ushers in a new era with forthcoming single, "Woman's World"
Katy Perry has announced the start of a era this summer, beginning with the release of her forthcoming single, "Woman’s World".
Katy Perry unveiled the single’s cover art, which was shot by acclaimed British photographer Jack Bridgland, and a snippet of the song on her social media, as the first preview of the upcoming sixth studio album. Last year, Perry released the 15th anniversary edition of One Of The Boys.

Katy Perry recently wrapped up her Las Vegas residency, PLAY. Last year, she sold her back catalogue for $225million, and revealed that the seventh consecutive season on American Idol, as a judge, would be her last. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel of her reason to leave American Idol, Perry hinted at the fact that she was ready to start releasing music again: “let’s just say I’m creating space for my new wingspan.”
"Woman's World" is set for release on 11 July, and is available to pre-save now.
