junodream present new single, "The Oranges"
Dream rock four piece junodream have released "The Oranges" as the final preview from their forthcoming debut album, Pools Of Colour.
"The Oranges" is about blissful escapism and creativity - inspired by a recurring dream that singer Ed Vyvyan has. He explains, “it's sort of what junodream means to us as a concept. It’s a creative outlet, separate from the stresses of this weird, amazing, terrible world. It’s the moment of uplift in the album, that’s why it comes right at the death”.
In line with their total control over their entire creative output, the album was produced by guitarists Tom Rea and Dougal Gray, with its cover art conceptualised by Gray. Working between their home studio – dubbed Shabby Road – and the west London studio of co-producer Simon Byrt, Pools of Colour, is about coming to terms with insignificance.
"The Oranges" follows previous singles, "Kitchen Sink Drama", "The Beach", and "Death Drive".
junodream are set to embark on a headline tour takes place early next year, making stops in Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Brighton, and London's Village Underground, in support of Pools of Colour.
Pools Of Colour is set for release on 26 January 2024 via AWAL. For more information on their upcoming tour dates, visit junodream.com.
