Jordan Rakei signs to Decca Records and presents his new single, Flowers"
GRAMMY-award nominated multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer, and songwriter Jordan Rakei announces his signing to Decca Records alongside the new single, "Flowers".
“‘Flowers’ is an homage to the journey of my first love, the patience it requires, and the pivotal moment I met my wife. It reflects on our memories and tells the story of the comfort I feel in that relationship.” he explains.
Rakei is celebrating the release of "Flowers" with the announcement of his biggest headline show to date, at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London on 1 October 2024.
After making waves in the scene on his arrival in London from Australia in 2015, he self-released his debut Cloak a year later before signing to influential indie label Ninja Tune ahead of his second album Wallflower in 2017. Third and fourth albums Origin and What We Call Life, which came out in 2021, completed his deal with Ninja Tune.
"Flowers" is out now. Tickets for Jordan Rakei's show at The Royal Albert Hall will be on general sale from 3 November.
