Jeopardy contestant mistakes image of Beck for Ed Sheeran
A contestant on yesterday's (28 September) episode of Jeopardy fumbled in the one-name rockstar category by mistakenly identifying a picture of Beck as Ed Sheeran.
It's been a busy week for Beck. After releasing a cover of Neil Young's "Old Man" as part of an NFL promo, which was then indirectly slated by Young himself, he's now been misidentified as Ed Sheeran on a new episode of Jeopardy during a category about one-name rockstars.
The contestant, named David Sibley, was crowned the winner of Jeopardy the previous day, but when presented with an image of Beck, he pressed the buzzer and answered with "Ed Sheeran". Stereogum has the full clip.
The REIGNING CHAMP on #Jeopardy today just buzzed in SO CONFIDENTLY to say "Ed Sheeran" when shown this picture of Beck in the category "One-Name Rockstars."

Just last year Beck was a correct answer on Jeopardy, which asked who was the "alt-rock musician" grandchild of Al Hansen.
