Janelle Monáe has treated fans to a snippet of a new song that appears to be titled "Float".
Over the weekend Monáe marked the start of 2023 with a clip of her in the studio listening to a new song which seems to be titled "Float". Monáe wrote in the caption, "20twentyFREE #float".
She's yet to follow up 2018's Dirty Computer album, and hasn't released new music since 2021's "Say Her Name (Hell You Talmbout)" protest song featuring Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Chlöe x Halle, Tierra Whack, Zoë Kravitz, Brittany Howard and many more.
Just before Christmas Janelle Monáe starred in Netflix's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery film.
